The Stack Regulator Addon fundamentally changes this mechanic. By leveraging the advanced Minecraft Script API (GameTest Framework) introduced in version 1.21, we have created a seamless, vanilla-friendly method to compress thousands of items into a single inventory slot.

This isn't just a cheat; it's a balanced gameplay mechanic. The addon introduces an RPG-style progression system where storage capacity is earned through experience (XP). Starting at 64, you can upgrade your regulator to hold 128, 256, 1,000, and eventually 5,000 items per slot. This transforms the way you play survival mode, making massive projects feasible without shulker box clutter.

🛠️ TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE

For server owners and technical players, understanding how an addon impacts performance is crucial. The Stack Regulator is built with optimization as its core philosophy.

HOW IT WORKS (UNDER THE HOOD)

Unlike older "NBT editing" mods that often corrupted world files or caused chunk errors, the Stack Regulator uses the official @minecraft/server module.

• Event-Driven Logic: The script does not run heavy checks every tick. It primarily listens for specific events like itemUse and playerPlaceBlock to trigger calculations.
• Dynamic Properties: Your upgrade status isn't stored in a scoreboard or a tag. We use the getDynamicProperty API attached directly to the player entity. This ensures your data is secure, persistent, and uneditable by other players.
• Virtual Stacking: Since the Minecraft engine hard-codes stacks to 64, we utilize a "Virtual Stack" system. The item in your hand visually displays the custom amount (e.g., "Cobblestone x4500") via Lore text, while the script manages the mathematical logic in the background. When you place a block, the script intercepts the action, decrements the virtual count, and ensures a real block is placed in the world.

PERFORMANCE IMPACT

We have stress-tested this addon on low-end mobile devices (Android/iOS) and consoles (Xbox/PS4). The runInterval used for auto-merging runs only once every 10 ticks (0.5 seconds), ensuring zero TPS drop even with multiple players online. It is fully compatible with Realms and dedicated servers.

SERVER ADMIN CONFIGURATION

Running a dedicated server or Realm? The Stack Regulator is designed with multiplayer stability in mind. Since the data is stored on the player entity (`player.getDynamicProperty`), there is no central database to corrupt.

Permissions: The addon does not require operator permissions to use. Any player who joins can immediately access the regulator menu.

Anti-Cheat Compatibility: Some strict anti-cheat addons might flag the rapid inventory updates as "Fast Looting". If you experience this, whitelist the `sh:stack_regulator` item in your anti-cheat config or adjust the inventory interaction thresholds.

Clearing a perimeter for a farm typically generates over 100 double chests of stone and deepslate. With a maxed-out Stack Regulator, you can hold up to 180,000 blocks in your inventory alone (36 slots x 5,000 items). You can mine for hours without ever placing a shulker box.

2. COMPLEX REDSTONE BUILDING

Redstoners often need a variety of components: dust, repeaters, observers, pistons, and wool. Usually, these clog up inventory space quickly. With this addon, you can carry 500 pistons and 1,000 redstone dust in just two slots, leaving plenty of room for tools and food.

3. SKYBLOCK & ONEBLOCK CHALLENGES

In Skyblock, space is luxury. Chests take up valuable platform space. This addon acts as a "backpack" solution, allowing you to store your accumulated cobblestone generator output directly on your person.

📥 INSTALLATION GUIDE

WINDOWS 10/11 (PC)

1. 1 Download the .mcpack file from the link below.
2. 2 Double-click the file. Minecraft Bedrock will launch and import automatically.
3. 3 Create a new world or Edit an existing one. Go to Behavior Packs and activate "Stack Regulator".
4. 4 CRITICAL STEP: Go to "Experiments" in the world settings and enable Beta APIs. Without this, the addon will NOT work.

ANDROID / IOS (MOBILE)

1. 1 Download the file. If it downloads as a .zip, rename it to remove the .zip extension so it ends in .mcpack.
2. 2 Android: Open the file with a file manager like ZArchiver and select "Open with Minecraft".
3. 3 iOS: Open the Files app, tap the file, and select "Share" -> "Minecraft".

XBOX / PLAYSTATION / SWITCH

Consoles cannot import custom files directly from the browser. To use this on console, you must upload the addon to a Realm using a PC or Mobile device. Once the addon is active on the Realm, console players can join and the addon will automatically download to their cache.

❓ TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: I don't see the UI when holding the item?
A: Make sure you are sneaking (crouching) if you have customized controls, or simply right-click/long-press. Also, verify that "Beta APIs" are enabled in your world settings.

Q: Can I lose my items if I uninstall the addon?
A: If you remove the addon, any "stacked" items (over 64) may revert to standard stacks or disappear depending on how Minecraft handles the NBT data. We strongly recommend un-stacking or storing items in chests before removing the pack.

Q: Why does the item say "Update Required"?
A: If you see this, simply throw the item on the ground and pick it up again to refresh its script data.
