WHY AUTOSWAP?
Minecraft Bedrock Edition moves fast. Whether you are speedrunning, engaging in intense PvP on a faction server, or undertaking a massive terraforming project, hotbar management is the invisible skill gap. Fumbling for your pickaxe when you hit stone, or panicking to find your sword when a Creeper drops behind you, can result in death.
AutoSwap Ultimate is not just a tool switcher; it is a context-aware inventory manager powered by the Minecraft Script API. It constantly analyzes your environment—your velocity, your view vector, nearby entities, and the blocks in front of you—to ensure the perfect item is in your main hand within 3 ticks (0.15 seconds).
Unlike older "auto-tool" addons that used laggy command blocks or behavior animations, AutoSwap runs purely on GameTest Framework (Script API) logic. This means zero TPS drop, instant reaction times, and compatibility with other addons.
⚙️ DEEP DIVE: MECHANICS
⛏️ INTELLIGENT MINING
The addon raycasts 5.5 blocks ahead of your vision. It reads the Block ID and Tags of what you are looking at. It doesn't just look for "Stone." It checks against a massive database of Smart Filters.
- Obsidian? Checks for Diamond/Netherite Pickaxe.
- Leaves/Sculk? Swaps to Hoe instantly.
- Webs/Bamboo? Swaps to Sword.
- Gravel/Sand? Swaps to Shovel.
⚔️ PREDATORY COMBAT
The script runs a spatial query in a 6-block radius along your view vector. If it detects an entity (Player, Mob, Animal), it triggers the Combat Protocol.
It scans your hotbar for the highest damage item in this priority order:
Sword > Trident > Mace > Axe.
This happens faster than human reaction time, giving you the first strike advantage in every encounter.
🪂 VELOCITY CHECK (MLG)
AutoSwap monitors your player's vertical velocity (Y-axis). If your fall speed exceeds -0.6 blocks/tick (a dangerous fall), it initiates the Clutch Routine.
It frantically searches your inventory for safety items and equips them immediately:
Water Bucket > Slime Block > Hay Bale > Wind Charge.
Just hold right-click (or hold screen) as you fall, and the addon handles the swap.
🔦 SNEAK MEMORY
The addon remembers what slot you were holding before you started interacting.
While Sneaking (Crouching): The script assumes you want to place a utility block. It auto-swaps to Torches, Lanterns, or Glowstone if you have them.
On Un-Sneak: It returns your hand to the weapon or tool you were holding previously. This allows for seamless "Mine -> Light up cave -> Mine" loops without scrolling.
📚 THE BLOCK DATABASE
AutoSwap doesn't guess. It knows. Below is a categorized list of the interactions hard-coded into the script. If you look at these blocks, the corresponding tool will be pulled from your hotbar.

STEP 1: INSTALLATION
1. Download the .mcpack file from the link below.
2. Open the file to import it into Minecraft Bedrock.
3. Apply the Behavior Pack to your world.
You MUST enable "Beta APIs" in the "Experiments" tab of your world settings. This addon uses the `gametest` module. Without this toggle, the script will not load.
STEP 2: ACTIVATION
The addon is disabled by default to prevent accidental swapping in lobbies. You must toggle it per player.

❓ TROUBLESHOOTING & FAQ
Q: IT'S NOT WORKING / CHAT COMMAND NOT FOUND?
A: This is 99% of the time because Beta APIs is not enabled in World Settings > Experiments. Also, ensure you are on Minecraft version 1.21.0 or higher.
Q: WILL THIS BREAK MY TOOLS?
A: No! The script includes a Durability Safety Guard. If your tool has less than 15 durability remaining, the addon will REFUSE to auto-equip it, forcing you to use a different item or repair it. This prevents accidental breakage of God-tier picks.
Q: DOES IT WORK ON SERVERS/REALMS?
A: Yes, it works on Realms and Bedrock Dedicated Servers (BDS) as long as the addon is installed on the server side and scripting is enabled. It does NOT work if you just install it globally on your client without the server having it.
Q: CAN I USE THIS WITH OTHER ADDONS?
A: Absolutely. Because it uses the Script API, it does not conflict with `player.json` or other common behavior pack files. It is highly compatible.
